Our story
Ten years of pouring for the Old Town
We took over a narrow shopfront off the High Street in 2014 with one grinder and a secondhand espresso machine. The grinder is still here. So are most of the regulars — tour guides on their way up to the castle, students hiding from deadlines, and the couple who have had the same corner table every Sunday since we opened.
Everything is made behind the counter: the soup, the chutney, the shortbread. The coffee is roasted a mile down the road in Leith and never sits longer than three weeks.
